The title is from "The Rose of Battle" by W.B. Yeats; I'm not sure if I like it so if anyone has an alternate title idea, please let me know. I am open to suggestions!!!
Thanks! I was surprised it turned out so well; it was just a random project I started because I was bored, and I didn't really spend much time on it. But I really liked the outcome, so I decided to post it here.
Yay! I love the antique map texture! Great use of color too!

Thanks! Like I said, I didn't really plan this one out, so it was sort of a coincidence that the colors actually went together. But I think they looked a lot better after I added the textures and the overlays -- that really brought out some colors and toned others down and I think it ended up creating a nice effect.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
